Resident Representative Announcements

Management would like for you to put palm branches in the big green bins - not in the small bins. AND pease break down boxes before you put them in the recycle bins! The park gets a fine if boxes are not broken down.  

The work on the Mission View West Park directory is an ongoing project. We need a volunteer to take the list and go around the park and double check some of the names and phone numbers. When it is finished everyone will get a copy.

The city will have two inspections on mobile homes this year. Trico is planned for April and Mission View West is probably going to be in September. On our Mission View West blog spot I have put a link to a 30 page booklet on what they will inspect. I suggest that you read every page of it.

Mobilehome Park Maintenance Inspection

This is information has been complied by many sources.  Please keep it handy.   

There are two inspections that will happen every year in the Oceanside Manufactured Home Community. 

1.  All parks have a Title 25 Health and Safety inspection every year on the common area of all the 17 parks in Oceanside.  Some are happening right now.  

2.  Only one or two parks a year will have this inspection: on the exterior of the homeowners house and yard.   In 2024 those two parks are:  Trico to be done in April and Mission View West probably to be inspected in September.

"• The owner or operator of every mobile home and special occupancy park, regardless of size, must adopt an emergency preparedness plan. 

 

• The owner or operator must post notice of the emergency preparedness plan in the park clubhouse or in another conspicuous area within the park. 

 

• The owner or operator must provide residents with a notice on how to access the emergency plan and individual emergency preparedness information from state or local agencies. 

 

• The Plan must be approved by the respective park enforcement agency* (the agency that issues the park’s permits and performs inspections) in order to obtain the park’s annual Permit-to-Operate.
