OMHA works to protect rent control and advocate for residents, and your support truly matters. Annual membership dues are $10.00, with most of the funds going directly to candidates who support and protect mobile home rent control. Together, we can stay informed and protect our community.

The City Engineer told me that we will be getting a traffic signal at the intersection of 141 and 140 Douglas Drive. It is being funded by a private development group that is linked to the North Rivers Farms project that is off North River Road. He does not know exactly when the signal will go in, but does know the plans are complete. He said that they are waiting for one more component. 

May food list —- 4 boxes of meat, 1 box of eggs, 1 box of fresh food,  4 boxes from the pantry, which include: condiments, nuts, noodles, spaghetti, peanut butter, 4 nutrition bar boxes, 20 cans (tuna, Spam, fruit, green beans and corn), coffee, tea, sweets, honey, popcorn, wheat thins,Trisects, Cheerios, granola, and oatmeal

North River Farms

 Major Road and Traffic Projects Tied to North River Farms

These are some of the most significant off-site improvements required as part of the development approval.

1) College Boulevard Bridge Expansion

Widening from 4 lanes to 6 lanes

Includes improved pedestrian and bicycle facilities

Intended to increase traffic capacity and evacuation routes

Estimated cost: about $4.5 million 

Status: Construction has been underway in phases in recent years.

2) North River Road Widening

Expansion to more than double the existing width

One of the largest transportation changes tied to the project

Designed to accommodate increased traffic from the development 

This project often appears under:

Subdivision improvement plans

Traffic mitigation measures

3) Highway 76 Intersection Improvements

Improvements to multiple intersections along State Route 76

Coordination with Caltrans

Focus on traffic flow and safety 

Typical work includes:

Signal upgrades

Turn lanes

Traffic control changes

4) Vandegrift Boulevard / North River Road Turn Lane

New turning lane added at the intersection

Intended to reduce congestion and improve safety 

5) Douglas Bridge Expansion Contribution

Developer required to contribute funding toward expansion of the bridge

Supports regional traffic circulation
